Manchester City lifted the Champions League trophy for the first time in their history with a 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the final. Sergio Aguero scored the only goal of the game in the 73rd minute, to secure City's first ever European Cup.
The game was a tense affair, with both sides having chances to win. City had the better of the first half, but Inter came out strong in the second half and had several chances to equalize.
However, City held on to secure the victory and spark wild celebrations at the Etihad Stadium. The win also means that City have now won the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League in the same season, becoming the first English side to do so.
